Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR List

It's time again for The Broke and The Bookish's Top Ten Tuesday.

This weeks theme was: Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR List

Since I NEVER read all the books I plan to read, I made the list shorter this time around.

Here's my top five:

  1. Good idea at shortening the list! I usually get around to abut 60-75% of the books Iist out each season, but it can be difficult at times xD I hope you enjoy the latest Veronica Mars book and Brave New World, both were fantastic reads :)

  2. I've haven't read anything by Matthew Quick yet, but Silver Linings Playbook has been on my TBR for a while, hopefully I can manage to get to it this year! Great picks!

  3. I've been terrible at my TTT TBR lists as well...but I am trying to get better at completing them. Coraline is a quick read and I really enjoyed it and I do need to get to the next Veronica Mars book soon. Not as good as the TV show but its better than nothing, right?

    My TTT is here.

  4. A smaller list is probably the smart way to go. I probably should have done that. I know I'll never get to all the books on my list this spring. More wishful thinking than anything else on my part.

I enjoyed reading your list though. Coraline is one I really want to read. I enjoy Gaiman's writing and storytelling ability. Matthew Quick's books also sounds good. I never could get through Brave New World--but I last tried years and years ago. I may try again at some point. Maybe I would appreciate it more now that I am older.

  5. Nice list! CORALINE is a creepy little book. I read it while I was alone in the house and needless to say, I jumped at every creak the house made.

Happy TTT (and St. Paddy's Day)!

  6. I think Brave New World was the only required reading in high school that I loved, which probably explains why I am eager it really any and every dysopian novel that comes out these days. I've been thinking of rereading it for a bit, so thanks for he extra encouragement.

I really enjoyed both the audiobook and the film for SLP. Maybe I'll give this one a whirl. I also want to read Coraline.

  7. Brave New World is one of those books that should be read by everyone at least once...I must be due for a reread as I can barely remember anything about it now (it was 25 yrs ago !!)

    Happy reading
